What gets me sometimes is the amount of cell phones that are available on the market nowadays. I mean every second week a manufacture is producing a new phone claiming all types of new features and stuff to make our life's better. There are a couple of things you need to keep in mind when you go to purchase a new phone. While you are doing your research for cell phone plans there are a couple of things that you will need to take note of while doing this, the main things to watch out for are: 1. Compare phones - try get a comprehensive list together of the different type of phones that will suit your needs. 2. Service plans - this is key to make sure you have the right contract and are getting the best value for money. 3. Compare prices - not much to say here just make sure you are getting the best price from the service provider that you can. 4. Consumer reports - it's always worth checking what other people have purchased in the past, you can find this information from online forums and online research companies. 5. Costs - some service providers offer free phone, free shipping and also family plans which can save you money upfront and on and on ongoing bases. Is there such thing as a free cellular phone the answer to this is yes they are available but you also have to sign up to a contract in order to obtain one of these. Many plans would of course have a monthly charge and within this charge you are paying for the price of the phone he also paying for the price with the amount of calls you make this is why AT&T and T-Mobile will offer free phones with their plans. This service you get from your carrier is also key to your decision that you make you need to be aware that they have good coverage in your local area or state. Some carriers offer national service but will have extra fees won't you go outside the state basically roaming charges. You can check various reviews to find out which carrier offer the best all inclusive plans, make sure before you sign up for a contract is that there are no sneaky hidden charges somewhere. Once you have found the carrier who are going to provide your cell phone plans you need to check a number of things, make sure that the minutes include suit what you are going to use that the monthly fee is exactly what you want to pay and you're not being overcharged and that the service plan is perfect for your needs. One of the things I like to check is family plans as it's great to be able to avail of discounts to the people whom I probably call the most. Keeping the fee as low as possible is the objective here I personally have a plan with Verizon and it is perfect for my needs I made sure that I checked the detail of the plan before signing up. My personal plan is a 12 month contract but some are open to 18 months make sure you check this before signing on the dotted line.
