Cell Lesson Plans Elementary

Having a tooth on a cell phone is a great way for being able to make it hands-free calls with a car kit, transferring photographs from your phone to your laptop or even transferring your photos directly to a printer with Bluetooth.
This question would seem like a fantasy if asked a few years ago, when roaming fees were at large and every cell phone company took advantage of them fully. But nowadays, with all the technological progresses and the acerb concurrency between the companies, cellular providers suddenly gave up charging for roaming calls the usual extra cents. This does not mean roaming is totally free regardless of the network you chose and of the location you want to call.
For those who are still unsure what roaming calls really mean, here’s a very simple explanation. Roaming calls are al calls made outside the cellular network your number currently belongs too. This also includes local calls to friends that use a different cellular provider. When people think of roaming, most of them picture international calls. So if we say roaming is free or costs less, they will think that they can call abroad countries at no extra charge. In truth, the international roaming still costs a little extra, depending on the services plan you choose, it’s only the normal roaming calls that are currently free of extra charges at most cellular providers.
Let’s take a closer look at some of the roaming policies of popular phone companies. First, there’s Cingular, who has a big add on its website about the new free roaming plan, called Cingular Nation. This plan can include free minutes, from 50 to 1000, depending on witch ramification you decide to buy, and also says that there are no extra charges for roaming call and domestic calls made from your Cingular Phone to any other cell phone within the country’s territory. There are roaming fees for international
calls, of course. But, if looking into the contract a bit, we see that the roaming calls you make over a three months period must not go over 50% of the total monthly costs. If they do, your cell plan can get cancelled by Cingular and you end up paying for roaming after all.Another service provider that has roaming at no extra charges is Sprint Nextel, as the two companies merged recently. With its Sprint Free plan, you can get roaming minutes at regular costs, during certain periods of the day or week. For example, a minute on Tuesday at 12 Pm can cost normally, while a minute on Saturday at the same hour can be even free of all costs if you’ve chosen a plan that allows you to speak as much as you want during weekends. International roaming calls are charged here also.
Verzion on the other hand, offers free nation-wide roaming on wireless networks at all of his phone plans. This means you can call anywhere within country borders and pay as you would pay for a regular minute, the standard price specified in your agreement, regardless of how expensive your subscription is. The same thing happens with AT&T subscribers. They also get roaming minutes that are charged as standard ones.
Alltel also offers complimentary roaming for inside country phone calls, but the minutes must not go over 40% of your total monthly calls, because this is the company policy. Another good thing is that international roaming services they provide are also discounted for many countries in comparison with those of the providers mentioned above, as Alltel has agreements with many European and American providers.
